I love taking photos in the city because there is so much life, enthusiasm, and people give you the funniest looks:)  This past week I wore this look for a lunch date with a friend and since the weather was chilly I opted for this layered look.  Mint is becoming one of my favorite colors for Spring and when I saw this sweater at my new favorite place, J.Crew I had to have it!!

Coral Jeans

Since "colored" denim has become a trend, I have been on the look out for an inexpensive pair.  I tried on countless pairs in my attempt to find something that didn't make me look ridiculous.  Time after time I was disappointed and defeated, because lets face it I do have a womanly figure...  Don't get me wrong, I love my shape but to pull off this new denim trend I was starting to think you needed to be a twig.  Until I was in Old Navy and spotted these coral jeans, I grabbed a few sizes and headed to the dressing room.  I was pleasantly surprised that they fit in all the right places.  I looked at the price, thought it was reasonable and decided to check out:)

Seeing Stripes

I've had this skirt for over a year now and I am still obsessed, it's so comfortable and versatile.  On a rainy day like today it was quick to thrown on, and out the door I went.....  There's nothing better than rediscovering clothes, to me that means money well spent!!  Hope you have a wonderful weekend and stay glam!!

The weather in MN has been really warm, but in the mornings and at night the temp drops fast, so layering is a must.  As the temperature kicks up, the layers come off, lol!!!  When the weather gets a tad bit warmer I will most likely be wearing wedges with this look.  The options of footwear, jewelry and layering pieces are endless because this dress is so simple and feminine.  Thanks for reading and have a glamorous day.....

Pleated Skirt

I was drawn to this bright colored pleated skirt and was a little hesitant to try it on.  I had this funny notion that "pleated skirts" didn't compliment my body type.  I was extremely happy with the length and to be honest obsessing over the color!  This is another transitional piece that has endless possibilities in all seasons.  I guess the moral of this fashion story is, always try things on because you never know what gems you just might find!!!

Sophisticated Style

When shopping I look for pieces that will stand the test of time.  For instance my cream dress and black blazer will never go out of style, they are simple classic pieces that can transition from season to season.  Accessories always jazz up any outfit and I love to mix gold with silver or add pops of color thru accessories!  Don't over think fashion, its about what you love and feel amazing in:)  Confidence is always the sexiest fashion accessory!!
